Dick Williams has spent his entire life in the game of baseball. He played third base and left field for the Brooklyn Dodgers Baltimore Orioles Cleveland Indians Kansas City Athletics and Boston Red Sox. Once his on-field career ended he found his niche as a manager and went on to guide the Red Sox Oakland A's California Angels Montreal Expos San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. Among the highlights of his days as a manager he led the Sox to their pennant-winning 'Impossible Dream' season in 1967 earning Manager of the Year honors that season and took home World Championships with the A's in 1972 and 1973. Williams won his second Manager of the Year Award in 1972 and he was enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 2008. Dick Williams has hand signed this official MLB baseball and added the inscription 'Mgr of the Year 1967.' A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
